Share & Inspire Across the Region!
As the Border Region Talent Pipeline grant sunsets, we want to highlight the amazing work our partners have accomplished, as well as provide opportunities for others to ask questions, problem-solve, and collaborate.
We invite our K-16 partners in the San Diego & Imperial region to share about innovative programs, lessons learned, data collection and outcomes, resources and/or tools that others can replicate.
K12 Examples Include:
- Launching CCGI across multiple high schools, with counselor and teacher lessons at every grade level
- Creating an internship class for high school students to gain work experience
- Using data to develop cross-curricular math professional development for teachers to co-teach concepts
Community College Examples Include:
- Offering unique high school student support models to improve early college credit completion
- Developing a high school summer bridge program for a unique community college program or pathway
- Adjusting curriculum to align to industry needs for the Advancing San Diego program
University Examples Include:
- Working with high school districts to offer early college credit
- Partnering with a community college to offer select bachelors degrees
- Collaborating with local industry to create capstone projects
What are the details?
- In partnership with the San Diego – Imperial Regional Consortium and the County Office of Education, we are looking for unique programs or projects that were started, expanded, or refined with grant funds within the last five years.
- Content can be partially or fully funded by K-16 Collaborative funds, Strong Workforce, CTEIG, GSPP, Perkins, or other grant dollars.
- Record it on your own time and share the link with us afterwards! We can also work with you to do a recorded interview about your project.
- Recommended presentation length: 10-30 minute pre-recorded session

How do I participate?
- Complete the sign-up form (link below) – please don’t hesitate to reach out if you would like to brainstorm first
- Once your submission has been reviewed, we will send you guidelines
- Whether you already recorded a presentation, you record it on your own time and share the link with us afterwards, or we collaborate with you to do a recorded interview about your project, we will post your presentation below.
